PURPOSE: Approve Interlocal Agreement to provide funding to the City of Mill Creek for improvements to Silver Crest Park
BACKGROUND: Snohomish County Council approved Amended Ordinance 20-071 on November 10, 2020 to adopt the 2021 - 2026 Capital Improvement Program (CIP), which included funding for the City of Mill Creek’s Silver Crest Park Improvements project. This project is planned to complete a number of improvements including basketball court repair, irrigation, fence repair and replacement of benches and picnic tables. The City has provided a written request to receive the funds and has agreed to the terms of the Interlocal Agreement. Funding provided from the County to the City will be in the amount of $100,000 subject to the terms of the agreement.
