PURPOSE: Annual progress report briefing to County Council for the Hazard Mitigation Plan for compliance with the Community Rating System program.
BACKGROUND: As part of the annual Community Rating System compliance for the National Floodplain Insurance Program, DEM is required to compile a Progress Report highlighting the accomplishments and completions of the current Hazard Mitigation Plan strategies and action items.
