BACKGROUND: A competitive bid was issued for the repair and improvements of the Grandstands at the Evergreen State Fairgrounds. Work to be completed includes but is not limited to removal, disposal, repair and installation of roofing material, to be performed in accordance with the requirements set forth in the bid specifications, drawings and contract documents. The first low bidder, Alpha Developers, rescinded their bid. As such, this Bid Award Recommendation acknowledges Woodridge Construction as the lowest responsible bidder.
