PURPOSE: : Carahsoft / C3.ai
BACKGROUND: The Snohomish County Information Technology Department (IT) obtained services through a partnership with Microsoft and C3AI to develop a pilot AI redaction tool, with the platform and related compute processing capability hosted by C3 cloud services. IT now seeks approval to utilize Participation Addendum No. 05166 established by DES, through participation with NASPO, to purchase ongoing platform hosting services for an AI redaction tool and complementary optional professional services to further evaluate potential additional opportunities to expand the use of AI with document management tasks. A Master Contract Usage Agreement (MCUA) between Snohomish County and the State of Washington authorizing cooperative purchases was approved by the County Council under Motion 24-232 and is currently in effect. Annual spend is estimated to be $50,000 on an on-going basis
