PURPOSE: To recommend the appointment of Cassandra Thorpe to the North Sound Behavioral Health Administrative Services Organization Advisory Board.
BACKGROUND: The North Sound Behavioral Health Administrative Services Organization (NSBHASO) Advisory Board currently has 2 (two) Snohomish County vacancies. The NSBHASO Advisory Board advocates for the interests of individuals with mental health issues and substance use disorder, and provides recommendations to the NSBHASO Board of Directors, consisting of elected officials from Island, San Juan, Skagit, Whatcom, and Snohomish Counties. The Advisory Board is comprised of twenty-six (26) members, nine (9) from Snohomish County.
Ms. Thorpe is a Senior Clinical Manager for Sound Behavioral Health. Ms. Thorpe's is an advocate for behavioral health in Snohomish County, where she resides and has extensive experience in the field. Cassandra Thorpe's term expires 04/07/2029. Cassandra Thorpe does not serve on any other county board or commission.
