PURPOSE: Approve grant agreement with Project Girl Mentoring Program. The Snohomish County Health Department have selected Project Girl Mentoring Program as a partner to carry out the community navigator grant program.
BACKGROUND: Snohomish County, acting though its Health Department, was awarded the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services (HHS), for Office of Immunization COVID-19 Vaccine Community Navigator Program grant. Community Navigators will connect with and disseminate public health information in a culturally relevant format to marginalized communities and communities with the lowest COVID-19 vaccination rates in Snohomish County.
