PURPOSE: Reappointment of District 3 representative, Layla Bush.
BACKGROUND: Layla Bush is currently serving on the commission; she was first appointed in 2024 for a partial term under Motion 24-155, and this would be her first full term. Ms. Bush is a resident of Council District 3, has a master’s degree in public administration, and has previously served on the city of Lynnwood’s planning commission. The current term expires on July 1. Councilmember Peterson is nominating Layla Bush for reappointment to this position.
