PURPOSE: This motion refers a proposed ordinance revising ADU regulations to county departments and the Planning Commission for review and recommendation. The ordinance would allow new configurations and provide incentives to develop ADUs in urban zones.

 

BACKGROUND: Some of the proposed changes respond to recent state mandates and must be adopted by June 30, 2025. Other proposed changes are discretionary. Details in the staff report.
