PURPOSE: Council approval of a budget transfer in the amount of $170,000 within Human Services Fund 124.
BACKGROUND: The purpose of this action is to transfer $170,000 within fund 124 from the Human Services Pending Grants budget into the CAP/CSBG program budget.
During 2024 Human Services utilized CSBG grant funds to support client rent vouchers, activity which was not anticipated when the 2024 budget was originally adopted. This transfer will enable necessary services to continue to services through the end of 2024.
This budget transfer is fully covered with existing grant funding.
