PURPOSE:
The objective is to complete remedial investigation, feasibility study and draft cleanup plan in accordance with Agreed Order DE 21781 for the former Tect lease area.
BACKGROUND:
• The Airport was approached by the Department of Ecology that reprogramming funding was available to support continued environmental work at the former Tect lease area.
• Airport and Ecology have negotiated the terms of the agreement.
• The value of the grant is NTE $560,000 and funds prior work conducted under the Agreed Order and additional work that must be performed by June 30, 2027.
