PURPOSE: Council approval of an ordinance to grant vacation of public road right-of-way.
BACKGROUND: On November 20, 2020, Lang Investments, LLC and Donna Lang, submitted a petition to the Snohomish County Department of Public Works proposing to vacate a portion of the county road right-of-way (ROW), 271st Pl NE. 271st Pl NE, formerly known as Avenue D, is an unopened dedicated ROW of the Plat of Town of Bryant, and is in the SW ¼ of the SW ¼ of Section 22 Township 32 North Range 5 East W.M. The proposed vacation is a strip of land 40 feet in width, 20 feet on each side of the centerline. The proposed ROW vacation is in Council District 1.
