PURPOSE: The legislature enacted RCW 84.34 to maintain, preserve, conserve and protect lands for the social well being of the state and its citizens and has further declared, “that assessment practices must be so designed as to permit the continued availability of open space lands for these purposes.”
BACKGROUND: The owner seeks to reclassify total acreage from Open Space Agriculture to Open Space Ag Conservation for both accounts reserving 1 acre on each parcel for homesites. Parcel 32062100100100 is located at 14618 SR 530 NE, Arlington, WA 98223 and parcel 320616004005 is located at 14623 SR 530 NE, Arlington, WA 98223.
