EXECUTIVE RECOMMENDATION: APPROVE
PURPOSE: Authorizes the County Council to authorize ILA’s by motion in specific circumstances.
BACKGROUND: Snohomish County Charter Section 1.30 specifies that intergovernmental agreements be authorized by ordinance. Proposed Ordinance 25-023 codifies, by Ordinance, that the County Council can authorize an intergovernmental agreement by motion when the project, function or activity is already a part of county operations.
