PURPOSE: To provide more visibility when tax proposals come before Council
BACKGROUND: Snohomish County Council periodically considers ordinances that, if adopted, would increase taxes within Snohomish County. In order to increase the visibility of potential tax increases, this motion would direct Council staff to post notice on a County Council managed webpage dedicated to this purpose, post on all County Council social media accounts, and a detailed notice be submitted to Snohomish County news outlets for publication
