PURPOSE: Approve Change Order No. 6 to the construction contract for reconstruction of the entrance to Flowing Lake Park.
BACKGROUND: Notice to Proceed was issued to Terra Dynamics, Inc. to begin work on reconstruction of the entrance to Flowing Lake Park on Oct. 7, 2019. Work completed as part of this project includes widening 48th St SE, relocation of a water main running through the park, stormwater system installation, circulation reconfiguration and construction of a new Ranger Office/Welcome Station. As construction has progressed five Change Orders have been executed and a final Change Order has been negotiated to address a permit requirement to provide fall protection fencing as well as additional geotechnical observations during construction. The value of this work is $13,954.66 and will be the last Change Order associated with this project.
