PURPOSE: To obtain Executive approval of Funding Approval Form for WA State DES, Energy Program
BACKGROUND: In 2024, the Washington State Association of Counties (WSAC) introduced the Public Building Audit Grant program, which provides reimbursable payments for energy audits completed through June 30, 2025. Facilities applied for this program for the airport C1 hangar, future of flight building, and airport 207 building. The application was reviewed by WSAC and approved in December of 2024. Facilities has entered into an agreement with the airport to provide project management services for this project. The attached agreement allows Snohomish County Facilities to enter into an agreement for the work to be performed utilizing our interagency agreement (IAA K9023) with the Washington State Energy Program.
