PURPOSE: Lawn and Grounds Equipment
BACKGROUND: The Facilities & Fleet Department has need for mowers. DES issued competitive solicitation number 28123 for Lawn & Grounds Equipment on December 31, 2024. The bid contained 30 different categories, of which 3 are for mowers manufactured by Energreen. The supplier awarded for Energreen products is FMI Equipment. This recommendation is for the lowest, responsive bidder for in the applicable category and manufacturer. The DES contract with FMI Equipment is dated June 1, 2025 and is set to expire ultimately on April 30, 2030 with an estimated award amount of $3,000,000 over five (5) years.
