ORAL MOTION
Vice-Chair Dunn made a motion to authorize the County, by and through the Prosecuting Attorney or his designees, to execute the necessary documents to resolve litigation with Purdue Pharma and the Sackler family, as well as the necessary documents to settle litigation with eight secondary opioid manufacturers – named Alvogen, Amneal, Apotex, Hikma, Indivior, Mylan, Sun, and Zydus, as proposed in the national multidistrict litigation and recommended by the Washington Attorney General’s Office. Councilmember Low seconded the motion and it carried unanimously.
