EXECUTIVE RECOMMENDATION: Approved by Mike Fong 12/22/2025
PURPOSE: To approve and sign Agreement with Washington Trails Association for the construction of the Lake Cassidy ADA Loop Trail.
BACKGROUND: This agreement is with the Washington Trails Association (WTA) to construct a new ADA trail off the Centennial Trail near Lake Cassidy. The County acquired a forested parcel of land here with funding from the Washington State Recreation and Conservation Office (RCO) (project #92-117). The County is building the trail to provide public access to the parcel as required by RCO. WTA will coordinate and supervise work parties with WTA staff and volunteers and will average 100 hours per work party.
