PURPOSE: AUTHORIZE THE PAGE PROGRAM
BACKGROUND: The Snohomish County Council has designed a Legislative Page Program modeled after the Washington State Program. 10 students ages 14-17 will join the County Council for a week long “intro to County government” week as well as spending a “day in the life” with their district council member. This motion authorizes the payment of a daily stipend.
