PURPOSE: Authorizing the signature and execution of professional service agreement with Aspect Consulting

 

BACKGROUND: In the Spring of 2021 an EPA Tier I Air assessment was completed at McCollum Park indoor facilities.  The findings from the Tier I assessment led to a recommendation to complete an EPA Tier II Assessment and include a sub-slab soil testing into the scope of work.  It was necessary to rapidly hire a consultant to make sure there were no safety concerns for the public or staff.  Aspect Consulting was chosen based of availability and record of Tier II testing in the area.  This was mirrored with efforts from Solid Waste Division to have their contractor (Parametrix) run parrel testing at ports throughout the outdoor facility.
