PURPOSE: Approve Interlocal Agreement to provide funding to the City of Sultan for Evacuation Trail Improvements by installing lighting along the trail.

 

BACKGROUND: Snohomish County Council approved Amended Ordinance 20-071 on November 10, 2020 to adopt the 2021 - 2026 Capital Improvement Program (CIP), which included funding for the City of Sultan’s playground improvements project at Osprey Park evacuation trail lighting.  The City has provided a written request to receive the funds and has agreed to the terms of the Interlocal Agreement.  Funding provided from the County to the City will be in the amount of $50,000 subject to the terms of the agreement.
