PURPOSE: Click or tap here to enter text.To recommend the reappointment of John Wennberg for a second term to the Snohomish County Developmental Disabilities Citizen Advisory Board.

BACKGROUND: The Developmental Disabilities Board is comprised of citizens who serve in an advisory capacity to the Developmental Disability (DD) staff of the Snohomish County Human Services Department.  The Board meets monthly and is comprised of up to 15 members, drawing from all areas of the county and a range of backgrounds, including family members, individuals with developmental disabilities, professionals and advocates.    *John Wennberg resides in Council District 4.  *Mr. Wennberg is an active disability rights advocate and a former board member from 2002 to 2010.   *Mr. Wennberg will bring his personal perspective and years of experience to the board as an individual with a disability, a successful business owner and public speaker.   *This will be Mr. Wennberg’s 2^nd term, ending 5/2/2024.   *The Snohomish County Developmental Disabilities Citizen Advisory Board currently has 8 members and 7 vacancies.   *Mr. Wennberg does not serve on any other County Board or Commision.
