PURPOSE: Establish penalties for the use and possession of controlled or counterfeit substances or legend drugs.
BACKGROUND: This ordinance makes the possession or the public use of controlled or counterfeit substances or legend drugs illegal within unincorporated Snohomish County. Exceptions are included for the possession and use of cannabis for individuals twenty-one years of age and older.
