PURPOSE: Council to approve and the Executive to sign the $594,515 Workforce Agreement between Snohomish County and Edmonds College.
BACKGROUND: In the 2023 adopted budget, $8 million in ARPA funding was appropriated for workforce development. April 26th, 2023 a NOFA was posted explain that Snohomish County seeks to support a menu of workforce development, job placement, and youth career exploration programs with appropriate supportive services for un- and under-employed individuals. This award is a result of this NOFA.
