PURPOSE: Bid Award Recommendation for PW-26-0628SB - Flowing Lake Dock & Waterfront Access
BACKGROUND: A competitive bid was issued for improvements to Flowing Lake Dock & Waterfront Access. Contemplated work includes, but is not limited to, temporary erosion and sedimentation control work, demolition, and earthwork; demolition and replacement of the existing floating dock system. Work also includes installation of a new floating dock system, including an accessible kayak launch, railings, floats, benches, cleats, and associated appurtenances. All work to be completed in accordance with the contract and related documents. Seven (7) bid submittals were received, the lowest responsible bidder being Diverse Earthworks, Inc. for a total award amount of $897,344.52 plus applicable Washington State Sales tax.
