PURPOSE: Recommend the appointment of Demi Chatters to serve on the Snohomish County Human Rights Commission as the Council District 2 Representative
BACKGROUND: SCC Amended Ordinance 16-034 reenacting and amending SCC 2.460 pertaining to the Snohomish County Human Rights Commission.
The Commission serves in an advisory capacity to the County Executive, County Council, and other County officers in matter concerning human rights.
The Council District 2 representative position is vacant. After consulting with the County Council as required by Code, the Executive recommends the appointment of Demi Chatters to fill the Council District 2 representative vacancy.
Term of service is for the remaining unexpired term of the vacant position.
The term will expire July 1, 2022
