PURPOSE: Approval of Supplement No. 6 to Agreement CCF01-22 to allow Snohomish County Public Works to extend the contract completion date with Confluence Environmental Company and to provide additional Permitting Services necessary to complete the Goodman Creek Culvert Replacement project.

BACKGROUND:
- The Department of Public Works (PW) intends to replace the Goodman Creek Culvert with a new bridge which carries Mountain Loop Highway over Goodman Creek approximately seven miles South of Darrington.
- Confluence Environmental Company was one of four consulting firms responding to RFQ-22-003SB and was selected through established Federal, State and County policies and practices. - To date, five supplements have been completed to add additional but related scope. One was approved by Council under Motion 23-223 and four were approved by the Public Works Director within the Council approved contingency amount (Supplements 1, 3, 4, 5).
- The existing culvert is a 12-foot diameter corrugated metal pipe. The culvert and supported roadway were damaged in the federally declared weather emergency of February 2020.
- Supplement No. 6 will allow Confluence Environmental Company to provide additional permitting services as well as construction related permit support and extend the contract completion date to 12/31/2027 to accommodate this additional work.
- Total payments for services under this supplement will not exceed $22,253, for an amended total amount not to exceed, $303,210.
