PURPOSE: Reappointment of Valera Storey to Agricultural Advisory Board, to represent Position 10: Stillaguamish River Basin
BACKGROUND: Executive Dave Sommers recommends the reappointment of Valera Storey to the Agricultural Advisory Board to server as a representative for Position 10: Stillaguamish River Basin. An agricultural advisory board (board) is hereby created as an advisory body to the county council, planning commission, hearing examiner and county executive with duties and responsibilities as set forth in SCC 2.06.040. The board shall forward its advice and recommendations directly to the intended advisee, and copy said advice and recommendations directly to the county council, county executive, the department of planning and development services, and the department of finance. Per SCC, a resident engaged in agriculture in the Stillaguamish River Basin is represented on the Board in Position 10.
