Motion 25-489, approving an increase in the number of employees authorized in the 2025-2026 Biennial Budget in the Grant Fund 130 for the District Court

EXECUTIVE RECOMMENDATION: Approved by Ken Klein 10/16/25
PURPOSE: Increase the number of FTEs by 2.0 project positions ending June 30, 2026.
BACKGROUND: Amended Motion 327-327 approved 2.0 project positions which are ending December 31, 2025. The District Court received grant funding from the Washington State Administrative Office of the Courts equivalent of 2.0 project positions from July 1, 2025 to June 30, 2026. This motion would extend those same two 2.0 project positions with an end date of June 30, 2026. Funding for these 2.0 project positions will come from the remaining Washington State Administrative Office of the Courts grant and the difference will be taken from the 1/10th of 1% Mental Health Court Fund 124.
