EXECUTIVE RECOMMENDATION:  A Boungjaktha 10/18/24

 

PURPOSE: Obtain approval of Amendment No. 6 to the contract with American Association of Airport Executive (AAAE) to add Title VI and Safety Management System (SMS) trainings to the existing contract with additional compensation thereto.

 

BACKGROUND: .

                     This contract was bid and AAAE was selected per RFP 15-18SR pursuant to motion 18-144 on May 16, 2018.

                     AAAE is a company that is focused exclusively on airports and airport related training programs.

                     The contract allows for ten (10) additional years with AAAE, to customize, manage, and maintain Airport videos, database and DAC.

                     This contract is for the vendor, AAAE, to customize, manage, and maintain Airport online training and training database.

                     The Federal Aviation Administration recently updated policies requiring Part 139 certificated airports to improve awareness and training on nondiscrimination (Title VI) and safety (SMS). 

                     Total compensation is increased by $3,500, with a total contract value not to exceed $238,450.
