PURPOSE: Obtain approval of Amendment No. 6 to the contract with American Association of Airport Executive (AAAE) to add Title VI and Safety Management System (SMS) trainings to the existing contract with additional compensation thereto.
BACKGROUND: .
• This contract was bid and AAAE was selected per RFP 15-18SR pursuant to motion 18-144 on May 16, 2018.
• AAAE is a company that is focused exclusively on airports and airport related training programs.
• The contract allows for ten (10) additional years with AAAE, to customize, manage, and maintain Airport videos, database and DAC.
• This contract is for the vendor, AAAE, to customize, manage, and maintain Airport online training and training database.
• The Federal Aviation Administration recently updated policies requiring Part 139 certificated airports to improve awareness and training on nondiscrimination (Title VI) and safety (SMS).
• Total compensation is increased by $3,500, with a total contract value not to exceed $238,450.
