PURPOSE: This agreement is the product of County RFP-24-008BC, community assessment of health department, phase 2. The purpose of this agreement is to perform a community assessment of the health department operations as they relate to the health department’s response to COVID-19, and the health department’s work within the community, including with underrepresented communities.
BACKGROUND: The health department has been performing work to obtain an equity review, assessment, and subsequent reports of the Snohomish County health department. This agreement progresses that work through a second phase by a second assessment that will provide Snohomish County-specific data on perceptions regarding Snohomish County health department performance in the community, including how well-being is defined in communities, health consequences for residents, and the role of the health department, and perceptions regarding the health department’s coronavirus response, including indicators of community wellbeing before, during, and after the pandemic.
