PURPOSE: Approval of Amendment No. 3 to Professional Services Agreement CC07-24 with Communication Resources Northwest, LLC to provide training services in the areas of effective communication and team building.

 

BACKGROUND:
-
                     Public Works wished to obtain training services in the areas of communication and team building for their staff:
-
                     Communication Resources Northwest, LLC was one of six firms to respond to RFP-24-024SB to provide these services and were selected using federal, state, and county policies and practices;
-
                     Professional Services Agreement No. CC07-24 was approved by Council in September 2024 for the amount of $165,000.
-
                     Public Works has since processed two amendments to the original agreement. Both were within the contingency amount approved by Council.
-
                     Public Works - Solid Waste division has determined the need for additional staff training services and wishes to add $50,000 to the agreement amount and extend the completion date through December 31, 2028.
