PURPOSE: To obtain Executive approval of Change Order 15 to Lincoln Construction, Inc.
BACKGROUND: The County and Lincoln Construction Inc. (LCi) entered into an agreement on December 19th, 2024, for the construction phase of the New Start Center of Edmonds. Three leaking roof drains had caused damage to the building’s exterior framing. This damage occurred over the course of many years but was not visible until the interior gypsum board at the areas was removed after the project had been bid. In order to repair the framing, the exterior stucco must be removed and replaced. The cost of the removal and framing repairs were included in Change Order 14. The scope and cost of the stucco repairs have been reduced from $597,107 to $103,622.
