PURPOSE: The purpose of this ECAF is for authorization and execution of Amendment 3 to the Agreement between Rave Wireless and Snohomish County to add a Recurring Desktop Alert and Optional Soft Panic Button License.
BACKGROUND: The County published RFP 11-19SB to solicit proposals for a new system that will integrate with Sno911 and Smart911 systems, is usable “out of the box” with minimal configuration and offers 24 hour a day, 7 days a week support. Rave Wireless was selected by the Snohomish County evaluation committee as submitting the highest ranking proposal to provide a new notification system and a five year Agreement was executed February 12, 2020. The Agreement was amended January 18, 2023 to add 10DLC numbers and an additional 150,000 SMS messages annually. The County’s Campus Security Team has assessed options to get emergency messaging out to County employees. Rave has offered fixed pricing for the Recurring Desktop Alert and Optional Soft Panic Button License through the current term ending February 11, 2025 iat an additional cost pf Six Thousand Six Hundred Eighty-Four Dollars and Ninety-Three Cents ($6,684.93). Approval of this Amendment 3 will allow DEM to acquire the licnese for the RecurringDesktop Alert and Optional Soft Panic Button.
