PURPOSE: Council to approve Puget Sound Energy Low-Income Weatherization contract PSE-EE-LIW-101 Amendment 12 - This amendment was received to correct an allocation error caused by the funding portal used by Puget Sound Energy for project tracking and has already been signed and approved by PSE to correct the reporting issue in their system.
BACKGROUND: The Puget Sound Energy LIW Grant provides funding for low-income weatherization services of gas heated units. The outcome of this program is to improve the energy efficiency and health & safety of dwellings owned or occupied by eligible low-income persons/participants. The original contract was issued for January 1, 2017, through December 31, 2017, and has been renewed yearly through subsequent amendments. Amendment 12 includes an additional $115,000 in Macquarie Funds. Total combined grant funding for this amendment is $569,197.67.
