Motion 22-553, approve and authorize the County Executive to execute Amendment 8 to the Website Development and Hosting Agreement with Icon Enterprises Inc. D/B/A Civicplus

PURPOSE: The purpose of this ECAF is to approve and execute Amendment 8 to the Website Development and Hosting Agreement for CivicPlus to execute the second five (5) year extension through July 31, 2028.

 

BACKGROUND: The County entered into an agreement with CivicPlus in 2013 for the development of the County website. The Agreement states that additional services may be added by amendment or separate agreement.  The CivicSend module was added in 2015, ADFS and HTTPS software services were added in 2016, PlatinumPlus Security services were added in 2018, Media Hosting was added in 2019, CivicOptimize was added in 2021, and a sandbox environment, additional SMS text capacity, AudioEye Managed, and Design Center Pro was added in 2022.   Civic Resident and Community Engagement continues is a core priority for Snohomish County government and is a key strategic initiative for Snohomish County IT, and the County desires to continue the services for an additional five (5) year term as allowed in the Agreement.    Approval of this Amendment 8 will allow the Department of Information Technology to extend the Agreement for the term beginning August 1, 2023 through July 31, 2028.
