PURPOSE: This is a multi-year contract amendment for aviation security on-call consulting
BACKGROUND:
• Snohomish County Airport Paine Field (“Paine Field”) and Aviation Security Consulting, Inc. (ASC, Inc.) executed an aviation security on-call consulting agreement on January 30, 2020 pursuant to RFP No. 32-19SR.
• ASC, Inc. assists Paine Field with Transportation Security Administration (TSA) regulatory compliance and recommendations.
• RFP No. 32-19SR allows the contract term to be extended by the County for additional time.
• Amendment No. 1 extended the contract for two years allowing continued regulatory support and assistance amending documents contained within Paine Field’s Airport Security Program, to December 31, 2025.
• Amendment No. 2 extends the contract for an additional two years allowing continued regulatory support and assistance amending documents contained within Paine Field’s Airport Security Program, to December 31, 2027.
• Amendment No. 2 updates the consultant rates and costs associated to the remaining optional task items within the original RFP-32-19SR and the additional contract term.
• Amendment No. 2 is not to exceed $200,000, bringing the total contract to $800,000.
