PURPOSE: Approval of this Right-of-Way (ROW) plan will allow the acquisition of Temporary Construction Easements (TCEs) for the Larson Road Bridge 101 Seismic Retrofit Project.

 

BACKGROUND: • The Larson Road Bridge 101 Seismic Retrofit Project is listed as item F.60 in the 2026 Annual Construction Plan.

• The County proposes to improve Larson Road Bridge 101 with a seismic retrofit for the bridge performance during seismic events.

• Construction of the project will require temporary easement on 5 parcels. The Right of Way phase is scheduled to begin in mid-2026.

• Estimates for ROW acquisition are based upon the Right of Way funding estimate provided by Engineering Services.

• The Right of Way phase of the project is funded with Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) funds with 13.5% local match after September 2026.

• The project is in Council District #1.

• LDA noticing was mailed on Dec 20, 2025
