PURPOSE: Western Washington Medical Group (WWMG) and the Snohomish County Health Department have a current need to enter into an amendment to increase funds by and additional $15,000 for a maximum consideration of $40,000 of the agreement to cover STD services provided to Snohomish County residents in 2023. WWMG was contracted to provide sexually transmitted disease (STD) services in Snohomish County to Snohomish County residents specifically identified who have been provided a referral voucher from the Health Department.
BACKGROUND: The County, through its health department, previously contracted with Western Washington Medical Group, Lake Serene Clinic, to provide sexually transmitted disease (“STD”) services in Snohomish County to Snohomish County residents specifically designated by the County (“Clients”). Although the contract ended on December 31, 2023, invoices since received from Western Washington Medical Group have exceeded the original contract amount and so this amendment serves to add funds to the agreement to close out the contract with Lake Serene.
