EXECUTIVE RECOMMENDATION: Approved
PURPOSE: Administrative Budget Change (a reallocation of monies between objects of expenditure within the same appropriation unit (program)) within Parks Construction Fund 309 - Support Program 49. In total $15,000 will be transferred within the Support Program 49 to shift funding from the Land Conservation Initiative DAC (949 050 5 6101) to the Healthy Forest Program DAC 949_076, to continue support for the Healthy Forest Program through 2026 with one extra help position for an extended 12 weeks, plus the cost of COLA increases from 2024/2025 figures.
BACKGROUND: Between Support Program 49 - Transferring $15,000 prior year OTHER (5) dollars from -Gen Imprvmnts-Other-Land (309-51094905056101) to the Healthy Forest Program-Other-Salaries, Benefits, Extra Help and Supplies (309-51094907651011, 2013, 1500, and 3101). This is needed to make sure the Healthy Forest Program budget covers the increases from the 2024/2025 COLA increases, as well as extra help support that is needed through the summer months. No fiscal impact to budget. Internal transfer within Parks Capital Fund 309 only.
