PURPOSE: To authorize the County Executive for Snohomish County Airport to execute a contract with Snohomish County 911 for a managed laptop program for 911 dispatching needs at Snohomish County Airport

• Snohomish County 911 has a managed laptop program for fire and emergency service agencies.
• The managed laptops are mobile data terminals (MDT) inside the responding emergency apparatus. MDTs are how the emergency apparatus receives incident details from Snohomish County 911; this is also utilized for mapping to the incident.
• The current ILA Snohomish County 911 - Current ILA Snohomish County 911 <https://sno911.org/about/interlocal-bylaws-corporate-documents/> (attached) outlines additional services that Snohomish County 911 can provide; the managed laptop program is one of these additional services.
• Snohomish County 911 will provide the hardware necessary for seven of Snohomish County Airport Fire Department’s emergency apparatus with this contract for a total cost of $53,141.40 over a five-year period.
