PURPOSE: To confirm the reappointment of Maddy Metzger-Utt to the Housing Authority of Snohomish County Board of Commissioners.
BACKGROUND: The Board of Commissioners is a citizen governing body which provides guidance to the Housing Authority of Snohomish County. Maddy Metzger-Utt has expressed an interest in utilizing her experience serving on local boards, her knowledge of local affordable housing concerns, and would like to serve a second term on HASCO’s Board of Commissioners to help be a part of HASCO’s vision and future.
• Ms. Metzger-Utt resides in Council District 2 and is currently the owner of MMU Consulting. Ms. Metzger-Utt has more than 32 years of experience serving the people of Snohomish County, both professionally as an executive in the nonprofit sector; personally, by serving on numerous boards and committees, and volunteering throughout the community.
• Ms. Metzger-Utt’s reappointment is supported by the other members of the Board as well as the County Executive. • Once confirmed, Ms. Metzger-Utt will serve her second five-year term expiring March 14, 2030.
• Ms. Metzger-Utt currently serves on the Whitehorse Foundation Board, Mountain Pacific Bank Board of Directors and previously served on the Everett Housing Authority Board.
