PURPOSE: County Council to approve and authorize County Executive to Execute the Puget Sound Energy Decarbonization Grant agreement.
BACKGROUND: Funds provided by this grant will be used to complete fuel switching from natural gas to high efficiency electric Heating Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) systems in up to25 homes which have previously undergone weatherization efficiency services through SnoCO WX within the last 5 years. These homes have met the funding limitations for weatherization work under the existing grants currently in process with SnoCO WX and are therefore not eligible for further services outside of this additional funding source.
