PURPOSE: Approval of Amendment No. 1 to Agreement CC02-23 between Snohomish County and Hillis Clark Martin & Peterson, P.S. for On-Call Legal Services - Environmental Review.
BACKGROUND:
- Public Works is requesting approval of an amendment to an existing contract for legal services with Hillis Clark Martin & Peterson, P.S. for Environmental Review.
- The scope of services focuses on potential site development, advice and representation in connection with potential cleanup, negotiation with adjacent property owners concerning the potential contamination of the County’s property, and negotiation with the Department of Ecology. The agreement has been reviewed and approved as to form by the Prosecuting Attorney’s Office.
- Total charges for services provided under this amendment shall not exceed $100,000 with a total contract amount not to exceed $200,000.
