PURPOSE: Council to approve Weatherization Plus Health contract S25-95401-422 Amendment B with Department of Commerce. Commerce has authorized additional funding of $434,655, making the total budget $2,314,833.
BACKGROUND: Department of Commerce Weatherization Plus Health program was created to improve the energy efficiency and health & safety of dwellings owned or occupied by eligible low-income persons. The original contract for $1,410,126 was approved in August of 2025 and amendment A for $470,042 was approved in February of 2026. This amendment B for $434,665 will bring the total of the grant contract to $2,314,833.
