PURPOSE: The purpose of this ECAF is to execute Amendment 1 to the professional services agreement with Emagined Security, LLC to provide an Incident Response Generalized Training & Tabletop Exercise to the County IT Department.
BACKGROUND: In order to detect and prevent security incidents and potential cybersecurity breaches of the County network, the IT Department executed a three (3) year Master Agreement with Emagined Security, LLC on January 24, 2024 to have annual network penetration testing performed by a network security consultant that will produce a report of potential vulnerabilities and recommendations to strengthen the County’s network security posture and defend against future threats. Service competition was waived in accordance with SCC 3.04.203. The IT Department is responsible for ensuring that County staff is prepared in the event security incidents occur, and wishes to have the Contractor provide an Incident Response Generalized Training & Tabletop Exercise. The cost for this service shall not exceed Eighteen Thousand Dollars ($18,000) plus applicable Washington State sales tax. Competition for this service has been waived in accordance with SCC 3.04.203. Approval of this Amendment 1 will allow the County’s IT Department to proceed with the Incident Response Generalized Training & Tabletop Exercise.
