PURPOSE: Bid Award Recommendation ITB-25-0569LY, As-Needed Tree Services - Revised
BACKGROUND: This Bid Award Recommendation revises the award recommendation approved in Motion 25-581 (ECAF 2025-3834) due to a calculation error. A competitive invitation to bid, ITB-25-0569LY was issued to solicit bids for as-needed tree services and related work costing up to $40,000 per individual project, not to exceed $350,000.00 per contractor per year. The revised awardees are: Primary Contractor: Selective Tree Removal, Secondary Contractor (if the Primary is not available): Pacific Tree Management and Tertiary Contractor: Sam’s Tree Care. As-needed services will be issued as individual projects for up to but not exceeding $40,000, excluding sales tax. The award of this bid will result in a two-year contract with each of the three (3) companies on a firm, fixed price basis for the initial one-year term with an option to renew for two additional two-year terms in accordance with SCC section 3.04.120 and section 3.04.140(5).
