PURPOSE: To obtain Executive approval of Amendment 4 of a Professional Services agreement with Jacobs Engineering Group, Inc.
BACKGROUND: The County and Jacobs Engineering Group entered into a Professional Services General Engineering On-Call agreement on March 3, 2021, with the Airport. Facilities and Fleet are submitting this request for programming and design to continue on the Center for Sustainable Aviation Fuels at Paine Field temporary facility. The scope developed during this process will be the basis for constructing the sample repository and production components prior to a permanent facility being designed and constructed at a larger scale.

DEPARTMENT FISCAL IMPACT NOTES: This Amendment allocates the remaining Airport portion of $595,860 of previously appropriated contract amount of $1,000,000 to Facilities for use in their projects, for a total of $945,860 to Facilities. After Exec approval, the Executive will approve future Task Assignments for the SAF project.
