PURPOSE: To hire Arora Engineers, LLC for on-call Geographic Information System (GIS) support services at Snohomish County Airport.
BACKGROUND:
• Snohomish County Airport (Paine Field) staff requires professional GIS assistance with support and review of the airport’s existing geodatabase, as well as developing new functionality, integration, and staff training.
• Arora Engineers, LLC (Arora) has been selected on the basis of their qualifications to do the on-call GIS support work identified in Schedule G of RFQ 24-011BC.
• Arora has extensive experience in aviation-related GIS systems, including successfully developing an integrated data management system at Paine Field.
• This contract will be administered over four years, with the ability to extend for additional time at the option of the County.
• The required funds will be provided from the Airport fund and supplemented with grant funding when available. The total expenditure shall not exceed $600,000.
• The Airport seeks authorization for the Executive to execute this professional services contract with Arora.
